Channel-centric collaboration company The Conference Group has announced a new version of its Audio Console. The tool is available with the company’s Reservationless Audio Conferencing Service and enables users to control and view their audio conferences while in progress, from anywhere.
The expanded features on the Audio Console include instant dial-out, the ability to call attendees from a saved or imported list of contacts, “sticky notes” for making document reminders or notes prior to or during a call, enhanced recording with the ability to pause a recording in progress, and playback, which enables users to easily incorporate previously recorded audio into a live conference.
“The Audio Console is tablet and smartphone ready, making it convenient for conducting business on-the-go,” said Karen Ruff, social media coordinator for the Conference Group. “It’s also available 24/7 and compatible with all major browsers, so it can be used on our audio conferencing services whenever and wherever it’s needed.”
The new Audio Console is free and accessible through any Web browser; users launch the Audio Console via the customer dashboard on the Conference Group Website. Not just for conference call leaders, anyone with the proper permissions may use the Audio Console.
