Data, voice and managed professional IT services provider Transbeam, Inc. announced today that Jim DaBramo, most reputable for building successful sales teams with more than 25 years of experience, has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. DaBramo is embarking on this new position as Transbeam is positioning itself for its next level of growth.
Transbeam initially started out as an ISP over 18 years ago, became a CLEC, than became one of the first providers of Ethernet over Copper – mastering Ethernet installations, and progressively adding various data, voice and managed services. Next stop for Transbeam is expanding its next generation high capacity network footprint nationwide with DaBramo’s leadership. In his new role at Transbeam, DaBramo will be responsible for driving nationwide sales for direct, channel and wholesale of the company’s expansive data, voice and professional IT services, supported by their nationwide MPLS/VPLS network for targeted businesses with multiple locations nationwide. Transbeam’s differentiator in the competitive telecom space is their white-glove service and customer support “after” the sale, says the company. Transbeam not only provides customized solutions based on their customers’ specific business and technical needs, but attention to detail is focused on for quality installations with monitoring and management of customers’ networks added into the mix.

DaBramo joins Transbeam from UNSi where he strengthened nationwide sales with significant multi-site customer wins. Previous positions included IBBS, where he served as vice president of sales, marketing and business development, pushing their cloud based service assurance products to the MSO community and Airband Communications where he was also an integral sales executive, successfully building the sales team selling Fixed Wireless services in key metro markets. Additionally, DaBramo has held various other sales executive positions at Florida-based CLEC FDN, Regional Fiber Provider Metro Access Networks, Bell Atlantic (Verizon) and Wiltel.
