tw telecom is partnering with Virtacore to provide a combination of cloud, network and data center services to customers and channel partners.
Virtacore offers a service for extending IT infrastructure in the cloud utilizing technologies built on Cisco’s UCS platform, VMware VSphere, and hybridized storage using either NetApp or Nimble storage devices hosted at Equinix data center ecosystems. Under the partnership, tw telecom’s eLynk service will add a secure, dedicated and scalable Ethernet cloud connection to the mix.

tw telecom’s Intelligent Network services include a Dynamic Capacity feature that gives customers the ability to double or triple their bandwidth on demand in real-time, through pre-scheduled planning or automatically without human intervention. And, the Enhanced Management feature provides customers with real-time visibility into key network performance metrics including utilization, latency, packet loss and jitter.
