Fusion today announced a major milestone in its rebound from Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a process that began back in June.
The company’s proposed restructuring plan was approved by the United States Bankruptcy Court, a decision that will enable Fusion to advance on a clear path forward.
Judge Stuart Bernstein of the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved the plan.
“While some additional steps remain before the plan can be declared fully effective, this is a positive milestone in our journey towards emerging as a stronger company by the end of this year,” the company said in a statement. “We take great pride in our ability to continue operating as usual and providing our partners with opportunities to grow with us through our full and integrated complement of communications and network services, including UCaaS, SD-WAN and security solutions.”
