Verizon Business reportedly appointed Shubho Ghosh as SVP, leading Business Strategy and Transformation.
According to Fierce Wireless and other news outlets, Ghosh will head up Verizon’s team that is focused on “business model innovation” in this newly created role. The executive previously worked with the Boston Consulting Group, and is also a former exec with McKinsey & Company and UBS Investment Bank.
Ghosh will presumably report to CEO, Tami Erwin.
“Since the inception of Verizon Business in 2019, we have been building a team of extraordinary leaders who have a bias for yes and growth mindset that will continue to propel us into the next phase of our evolution,” said Verizon Business Chief Revenue Officer, Sampath Sowmyanarayan, according to Fierce. “The addition of Shubho and Jennifer [Artley, SVP for Strategic Business Development Initiative] to our exceptional leadership team are just that, the right people, in the right place, at the right time.”
