Verizon Enterprise Solutions has debuted enhanced global collaboration portfolio capabilities that include rich conferencing and mobile collaboration tools.
The updates are based on Cisco WebEx Cloud Connected Audio, Collaboration Meeting Room and Verizon’s UCaaS Mobile First service, and delivered via an integrated platform and dedicated Verizon/Cisco data-center connectivity.
“With our cloud-based Collaboration Suite, Verizon is putting all the right tools in place to provide a simple, secure and reliable experience for corporate workers when meeting and collaborating with colleagues, partners and customers,” said Tony Recine, senior vice president and CMO for Verizon Enterprise Solutions.
The advanced communication enhancements include:
- UCCaaS Mobile First – Built for an increasingly mobile workforce, it offers end-users the ability to boost the audio and video performance of the Cisco Jabber mobile unified communications client application on Verizon’s 4G LTE network.
- Cisco WebEx with Cloud Connected Audio and Collaboration Meeting Rooms – These give enterprises an “any device” solution in more than 150 countries and 2,700 cities worldwide.
- Cisco Collaboration Meeting Rooms — Corporate users can take advantage of a personalized, 24×7 collaboration meeting resourceavailable on-demand.
“Verizon continues to be a key strategic partner focused on delivering cloud collaboration solutions to our mutual customers and is now raising the bar even higher with these new capabilities,” said Pat Romzek, vice president, Worldwide Sales Cloud Strategy and Enablement, Cisco. “Verizon’s trio of new features is a strong differentiator for the market that will help to deliver on the promise of voice, data and video collaboration ‘everywhere’ and workplace productivity from ‘anywhere’.”
