Vonage has appointed Susan Quackenbush as chief human resources officer.
Quackenbush will join the company on Nov. 30, reporting to CEO Alan Masarek. She will be responsible for leading all aspects of human resources, including compensation, benefits, training, talent acquisition and development, and organizational development and effectiveness. She will focus on establishing Vonage as a destination place to work and will lead a team that supports the company’s growing workforce in more than 30 locations in the U.S., as well as offices in the UK and Israel.

She has deep expertise in all areas of human resources, including creating a one-company culture at organizations that, like Vonage, have grown quickly through acquisition,” Masarek said. “Sue will focus on helping to establish Vonage as a destination place to work, which is a pillar of our business strategy as we work toward our goal of becoming the clear leader in cloud communications.”

Quackenbush has 26 years of experience, spending 18 years in human resources and eight years in corporate finance. She joins Vonage from Presidio, where she also served as chief human resources officer. Prior to that, she held HR roles at DMG Information & Events and BT, and has also held executive roles at Thomson Reuters, R.H. Donnelley, Honeywell and Ford Motor Company. She earned an M.B.A. from Drexel University in Philadelphia, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
