Voxbone has announced several growth statistics showing that cloud communications providers increased their reliance on Voxbone’s DID numbers over the last twelve months.
As of November 2015, Voxbone saw a 53 percent increase in call volume of its DID numbers and a 124 percent increase in call volume of its toll-free numbers, relative to the last 12-month reporting period. Voxbone also experienced a 31 percent increase in total customer spending.
A recent survey conducted by Redshift Research and cloud services provider Azzurri Communications found that demand for cloud-based unified communications (UC) has exploded in recent months, and is expected to increase by 466 percent in 2016. In fact, 48 percent of enterprise IT departments plan to move to UC in the coming year. Specifically, they will be turning to cloud-based UC deployments – which will soar from 6 percent of all UC to more than a quarter (28 percent). Voxbone’s own growth data supports this trend, which can be attributed in part to securing partnerships with some of the world’s largest cloud communications providers, including BroadSoft, 8×8, Intility and ThinkingPhones.
Voxbone offers a one-stop shop for DID numbers, real-time provisioning and number portability to more than 55 countries and 8,000 cities.
“While we’re certainly ready to hit the ground running for 2016, it’s hard not to relish in the successes of the last year,” said Voxbone CEO Itay Rosenfeld. “We’ve partnered with a majority of the biggest names in global UC communications, delivering a service which matches their reputations in quality and scope.”
