Women in the Channel (WiC) announced a new Chair of the Membership Committee, Helene Kidary. Kidary is the Executive Vice President for VoIPX International, Inc., a leader in the UCaaS and Cloud Based technology sector, servicing the SMB and Enterprise markets.
Kidary is an accomplished business leader and serial entrepreneur working in the telecom and technology space for near 20 years. She has extensive experience in building start-up enterprises into cost effective profit centers, directing the collaboration efforts between sales and business development groups with back office infrastructures of multifaceted companies, say WiC officials.
“We are thrilled to have someone of Helene’s caliber and experience as our new Membership Committee Chair,” said Hilary Gadda, Director of the Partner Channel at TelePacific Communications and WiC President Elect. “She brings fresh ideas and energy to the part of our group that is growing the fastest. We know that Helene will make a big impact in not only helping to grow WiC, but to give our current members an even better experience.”
Prior to VoIPX, Kidary served as President of Tandem Transit LLC, a NYC based domestic telecom company, competing in the space of voice, data and transit. Her prior company was VOX Group International, focused on international revenues and retail consumers in the Prepaid and Top Up space, having minority interests in wholesale arbitrage. VOX Group was the holding company to VOX Prepaid and VOXMe until 2012 when VOX Group was acquired.
Prior to VOX, her management firm Liberty Group Consulting provided general management and finance services to emerging privately-owned telecom companies. Kidary has held executive positions serving as Chief Operating Officer for Gorilla Mobile; EVP Network Operations at Telco Group that sold to Leucadia; VP of International Services at STAR Telecom; and VP Operations PT-1 Communications. She chaired the NewCo Integration Committee in a $1.2B merge with STAR Telecom and PT-1 Communications.
Before her onset into telecom in 1995, Kidary held senior management and business consulting positions in retail, music, hospitality industries, all of which served as a foundation for her broadly diversified career.
Kidary was certified by Bellcore’s TEC Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. in Telecommunications December 1998 and graduated with an Honors BS degree from Hofstra University May 1988.
With this announcement WiC also thanked former Chair of the Membership Committee, Chris Wilson, Founder and CEO of Datatel Direct, for her contributions.
