Wilcon Grows LA Data Center Space

Wilcon has expanded its data center business by 25 percent at the One Wilshire Building, located in downtown Los Angeles, one of the most critical telecom locations on the west coast.

“This expansion grows our Los Angeles presence, while providing better integration to our extensive fiber network across Southern California,” said Jon DeLuca, CEO of Wilcon. “As we continue to develop robust infrastructure solutions for our customers, we recognize the critical importance of delivering a leading downtown presence in combination with unparalleled reach throughout the region.”

Wilcon now provides colocation and interconnection services in multiple connected data center facilities on the 3rd, 12th, 16th and 28th floors of the building. The site features new infrastructure, including upgraded utility and redundant power systems, greater cooling capabilities, enhanced security and access to Wilcon’s intra-building connectivity. The company’s newest data center will also feature diverse fiber entrances into the One Wilshire Building, bringing direct access to Wilcon’s fiber-optic networks throughout Southern California.

“The new data center expansion and related improvements provide even greater capabilities for our data center andnetwork customers in One Wilshire,” added Mark Messana, senior vice president of data center operations at Wilcon. “Companies searching for secure, reliable facilities with hands-on technical support and high-density network connections will benefit from these features.”
