WTG Appoints Tom Gorey to Strategic Alliances Role

Master agent WTG has appointed Tom Gorey to be its director of strategic alliances. Gorey will focus on sales strategies from development to execution. He reports directly to vice president of sales operations, Julie Dzubay.

“We are very excited to have Tom join the WTG family,” said Dzubay. “Tom’s relationships in the channel for 30 years, in the distributor, provider and partner communities, will be instrumental in supporting channel development. Among other things, with the emerging programs from Frontier, CenturyLink, Verizon and AT&T, it is a perfect time to have Tom, who worked for half of them, join WTG.”

Gorey was a pioneer in launching global deployments of Microsoft, Oracle, and Concur cloud applications to Fortune 1000 enterprise customers, and has formed strategic alliances with Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung, CDW, Tech Data and a dozen other global integrators.  Most recently he had been developing disruptive global channels in third-party maintenance through VAR, agent and expense management channels for a multi-billion dollar energy segment provider and its subsidiary cloud-enabled monitoring and management division.

He holds a degree in engineering from the University of Washington, where he also serves as mentor to students pursuing baccalaureate and advanced degrees in the Engineering and Biotech schools. Gorey is based in Seattle.
