Xively, a subsidiary of LogMeIn, has launched the Xively Partner Network (XPN) for its public cloud platform for the commercial Internet of Things (IoT), i.e. the connected devices space.
First partners in the program are Electric Imp, TierConnect and ARM.
XPN is targeted at solution providers, professional services firms and industry alliance partners that have products, services and expertise in the connected solutions arena. And, partners can collaborate with other XPN ecosystem members to deliver integrated solutions.
The program has three sections. Technology Alliance Partners include vendors of SaaS platforms, communication services providers and providers of analytics and tools software, system-on-chip solutions, wireless connectivity modules and other components of complete IoT systems.
Solution Provider Partners like VARs and systems integrators design, architect, build, integrate, deploy and support connected products that leverage the Xively Cloud Services platform.
And Industry Alliance Partners are standards organizations, educational institutions, government organizations and other for-profit and non-profit entities that are committed to furthering the commercial, technological and societal benefits made possible by the Internet of Things.
