Xtel Communications, which provides voice, data and cloud solutions to businesses in the New York tri-state area, has named John West as vice president of finance.
“John’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Xtel family,” said Brian Flynn, Xtel president. “We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to be a leader in the cloud and telecom spaces.”
West will be responsible for all financial and billing aspects of the company, including forecasting, internal controls and financial reporting.
“It is great to have John join the team!” says Jeff Thomas, senior director of sales, “I know from previously working with John that he is going to be a great asset to Xtel and has the expertise to execute and evolve our financial operations strategy to support our growth initiatives.”
With more than 20 years of experience, West started his career at Deloitte. He is a CPA, as well as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
