AireSpring has completed a multi-million dollar upgrade to its network.
The planned upgrade was executed in response to AireSpring’s five consecutive years of phenomenal growth. One service in particular that is driving the need for increased capacity is the exponential growth of AireSpring’s Platinum SD-WAN solution.
The complex upgrade process included a major expansion of AireSpring’s nationwide data centers in new, world-class facilities. AireSpring’s facilities are housed within state-of-the-art data centers offering the latest in network and physical security, including biometrics as well as highly reliable power and cooling solutions.
The move included the replacement and upgrade of all core routers to the company’s highly scalable, fully redundant Juniper Networks equipment. AireSpring significantly upgraded and expanded its fully meshed optical backbone between all data center facilities. The AireSpring Network Engineering, Network Operations and Voice teams began planning a year ago for the transition, the company says, and flawlessly executed on the migration of all services.
“This multi-million-dollar network investment ensures that our capacity for growth and increased security will accommodate not only today’s gains, but future expansion as well,” stated Avi Lonstein, AireSpring CEO.
“The AireSpring network is now even more redundant, diverse, secure and reliable,” Lonstein added. “This upgrade demonstrates AireSpring’s commitment to providing our customers with the very best in world-class Managed Services over an advanced, adaptable and scalable nationwide network. With this network upgrade, we are positioned to offer our customers a wider range of new services, which will be released throughout 2019.”
