Alpheus Signs Up WTG in Texas

Texas metro-regional fiber carrier Alpheus Communications has signed up master agent WTG.

Alpheus can provide metro Ethernet service in 30 days or less to about 94,000 locations throughout the Lone Star State. WTG will focus on delivering networking solutions for voice, data and video transport, and connectivity to approximately 20 key data centers in Texas.

With more than 160 agents in Texas alone, WTG offers local, long-distance, data, Internet and associated equipment. The company also has specialty divisions with dedicated extra support in LEC, wireless, wholesale and cost containment.

“Alpheus understands master agents’ back-office operations and we address their issues with personalized care, high-quality technology and expertise,” said Matt Milliron, senior vice president of enterprise and channel sales for Alpheus Communications. “With our proven success in the key Texas markets – including Dallas, Austin, San Antonio and Houston – we are eager to deliver our sophisticated network solutions to WTG.”

In addition to the Alpheus solutions portfolio and its expansive Texas footprint, WTG was drawn to Alpheus’ channel partner program by Alpheus’ approach to customer service, it said.

“Alpheus has an excellent record of delivering scalable and reliable solutions throughout Texas and beyond, which is critical to our customers and to our agents,” said Vince Bradley, founder, president and CEO at WTG. “Their high-touch customer service, responsiveness and attention to all facets of the implementation and delivery process complement our diverse offerings to provide the best solutions to our customers.”
