Cloud and VoIP provider Alteva has added the Polycom VVX 500 and VVX 600 business media phones to its unified communications portfolio, available via channel partners.

The phones offer a range of features the ability to view the Outlook calendar on the phone and receiving meeting reminders while still having access to their corporate directory. Users can also extend their PC desktop to include the VVX 500 phone’s screen, with including dialing with a PC’s mouse and keyboard. The VVX 500 also offers video playback capability for streaming content.
