AppSmart Acquires Master Agent Telegration

AppSmart, the channel-led, online marketplace for B2B technology services, today announced it has acquired Telegration, Inc., a premier distributor of connectivity, cloud and cloud enablement, as it continues its strategic expansion.

Founded in 1990 and based in Michigan, Telegration is a leading master agent providing partners with technology services from more than 150 of the industry’s leading providers. Telegration provides a comprehensive range of voice, internet, long distance, mobility, cable, data, cloud, hosted PBX and managed IT services. It is also a member of The Alliance Partners, the largest consortium of IT, telecom and cloud technology distributors in the United States dedicated to fostering the best business outcomes for the channel ecosystem.

Effective immediately, Telegration becomes an AppSmart company. Along with AppSmart’s integration of master agent WTG (World Telecom Group), the all-new AppSmart offers the digital transformation expertise of top channel leaders, best-in-class technology purpose-built for agents, and the most diverse catalog of solutions for every business technology need, including cloud, voice, connectivity, IoT (mobility/energy), services, and support, said the company.

“Similar to how Amazon is the everything store for consumers, AppSmart is designed to be the digital services store for businesses – from cloud to wireless to energy,” said Telegration founder and CEO Denis Raue, who will be vice president/corporate development at AppSmart. “We look forward to being part of the AppSmart family working to create scale in distribution and delivering outstanding agent support tools.”

Telegration President Tim Basa joins AppSmart as vice president/Sales. “During our 29-year history, we have worked to enhance the distribution capabilities of solution providers while empowering sales success of channel partners,” Basa said. “Our vision and culture align perfectly. This is a great marriage of the AppSmart technology with our integration.”
