Arkadin, Blue Jeans Team for Cloud Video Conferencing

Arkadin has joined forces with Blue Jeans Network to create “Blue Jeans provided by Arkadin,” a cloud-based video conferencing offering.

It can bridge up to 100 attendees to chat, share content, and view each other, with simple scheduling and other administrative features. It also has a service intelligence tool for IT administrators via the command center feature that provides real time metrics for measuring utilisation and performance.

“Cloud-based video conferencing that is device, location and platform independent is an industry game changer as it removes the complexity, interoperability and up-front cost challenges that have traditionally slowed wide-scale adoption,” said Ira Weinstein, senior analyst and partner at Wainhouse Research. “The strategic partnership between these two fast growing, highly agile firms has yielded a service offering that is not only cost effective, but also fully supported by a field-proven global provider. We expect this combination to be of interest to many enterprises worldwide.”

“It’s all about a great user experience. The interoperability and flexibility of the Blue Jeans service will appeal to businesses interested in video conferencing for boosting productivity at all levels of their organisations,” says Thomas Valantin, Managing Director of Arkadin. “This is a highly strategic partnership that will advance Arkadin’s vision for being a true one-stop shop for all our customers’ collaboration needs.”

“Arkadin’s large global footprint and strong local presence give us tremendous leverage for taking video conferencing further into the mainstream,” said Stu Aaron, CCO of Blue Jeans Network. “Our shared vision for full interoperability between systems, fast scalable deployments and emphasis on customer success offers customers greater ROI and paves the way for more integrated partnership opportunities between our companies.”
