Storage acceleration and virtual data center provier Infinio has appointed Bob Skelley as the company’s vice president of global channel.
Skelley comes to Infinio with more than 20 years of experience in channel, business development, sales and marketing within storage, virtualization and enterprise IT environments. Prior to Infinio, Skelley served as Dell’s executive director of North American channel sales, regional partner relationships and sales engagement. Before Dell, he served EqualLogic as its global vice president of channel strategy and operations, implementing EqualLogic’s go-to-market channel model. Skelley was also previously Microsoft’s director of U.S. distribution and VAR channels, where he managed OEM, system builder, value-added reseller (VAR) and distribution businesses.

Skelley’s appointment furthers Infinio’s channel-focused strategy for Infinio Accelerator, its flagship solution, aimeed at helping organizations scale storage performance using a server-side, software-based approach to support growing virtualized enterprise applications and desktops.
