Converged voice specialist AudioCodes has introduced AudioCodes One Box 365, a Lync voice delivery solution for cloud services, tailored to enable complete voice services for Microsoft’s cloud productivity customers, from small business to mid-size enterprises.
“Office 365 and Lync have seen great success in the last few years and the adoption has been phenomenal,” said Giovanni Mezgec, general manager of Lync Product Marketing at Microsoft. “Solutions like AudioCodes One Box 365 can allow customers to fully experience the true value of communications with Lync enterprise voice, without losing the benefits of having Office in the cloud.”
Despite the incredible growth of cloud technologies, the IDC said that hybrid solutions are expected to dominate the market for the next few years: “Buyers intend to selectively source more IT capability in the public cloud but will also focus on keeping a significant portion of their assets on premise,” IDC analysts noted in a recent report.
AudioCodes One Box 365 provides a melded approach to fulfill that demand, including the critical hardware, software and services required for a Lync voice implementation by combining multiple Lync server roles, gateway and SBC functionality into one appliance. It also comes complete with Lync certified IP phones, an Active Directory Domain Controller and a dedicated user interface for migration provisioning and configuring for Lync users.
“With the introduction of AudioCodes One Box 365, our One Voice for Lync offering of comprehensive products has been significantly improved,” said Nimrod Borovsky, vice president of marketing at AudioCodes. “Now we can provide our partners with an intuitive and quick way to bring Lync enterprise voice alongside their Office 365 deployments in both pure cloud and hybrid on-premises solutions.”
