Matt Child has been named director of government, wholesale and integrators at Avanti Communications.
In the newly created role, Child will be responsible for overseeing the relationship between Avanti and its wholesale partners. He will work to develop government and DoD relationships, in parallel with satellite partners and integrators.
Child came to Avanti from Eutelsat, where he held the position of SVP of government services before becoming commercial director for Eutelsat’s Quantum satellite program.
