BEC Unveils MX-600 Multi-Service Modular Router

BEC Technologies, which develops and manufactures 5G and 4G LTE wireless broadband network connectivity products, introduced the new MX-600 Multi-Service Modular Router. This member of the MXConnect router series incorporates data communications and network diversity elements from a flexible platform, thus supporting various use cases and applications.

The MX-600 integrates multi-core processing and a flexible architecture to extend network connectivity. The platform also offers multiple deployment options, with intelligent WAN (wide area network) path selection and built-in redundancy across Dual GbE (Gigabit Ethernet) interfaces, Wi-Fi as WAN and mobile cellular connection. This flexibility allows the router to support residential wired GB internet, distributed enterprise and wireless WAN for primary, backup or private network connectivity.

The release also features a modular design to support cellular expansion via the MX-100 series of industrial USB modems, each with dual-SIM with auto carrier selection, active GPS and future tech evolution. Users can also select scalable throughput options of LTE CAT 6, CAT 12, CAT 18 and 5G sub-6GHz, supporting services and applications across Tier 1 licensed commercial networks, CBRS shared spectrum, 2.5 GHz EBS/BRS Networks and Private LTE or 5G.

The router integrates with the BECentral cloud-based remote-management platform, for managing large-scale UE deployments, and supports multiple visual dashboards with real-time analytics intelligence, detailed reporting, performance monitoring and lifecycle management.
