Birch Adds to Partner Channel Leadership

Birch Communications has announced an expanded focus on its partner channel, with additions to its partner channel leadership team.

Paul Masters has been selected for the newly created role of vice president of partner sales and solutions, and will be focused on building strategic industry partnerships to develop future growth strategies for the channel. In this role, Masters will oversee both the enterprise and indirect channels at Birch.

Also, Brad Smith will serve as vice president of national partner development. Smith will be focused on driving the strategy and overall success of the channel through national partners. The role was specifically designed to focus on educating and training partners on the Birch portfolio, with special emphasis on developing programs for the advanced solutions such as TotalCloud PBX, TotalCloud Data Center, TotalCloud File Storage, Metro Ethernet and fiber, as well as MPLS.

“Our significant growth this year in the channel has made the decision to position additional resources and add more dedication at the executive level an easy one. Birch has over 1,100 direct partners, through which it reaches more than 8,000 sub-agents. With these key leaders in place, I’m confident we will further accelerate partners’ success and the increased collaboration will better serve customers,” said Christopher Ramsey, senior vice president and CSO at Birch.

“Birch has been a partner of ours for a number of years,” said Scott Raymer, president of ICCS. “We enlist a partner like Birch because they use a broad portfolio of products available in all 50 states that satisfy our end customer needs. Birch has a rich history of providing great customer service to us and our customers.”
