Bit9’s Channel Sales See Triple-Digit Growth in 2013

Bit9, which provides advanced threat protection for endpoints and servers and which recently merged with Carbon Black, has announced that its channel partner program fueled a 137 percent increase in channel sales in 2013.

“The channel is a top priority for Bit9,” said Ed Filippine, vice president of worldwide sales for Bit9. “Our partner community increased threefold in 2013, which is enabling us to bring the benefits of Bit9 + Carbon Black to more customers than ever before. Antivirus solutions simply are no match for today’s advanced threats. That’s why the powerful combination of Bit9 + Carbon black is so appealing to our long-time and new channel partners.”

In 2013, Bit9’s channel sales accounted for 53 percent of company-wide sales, a tripling in channel sales since 2011. Bit9’s sales channel includes partners specializing in healthcare, finance, higher education, retail, commercial and government. The Bit9 channel team receives daily inquiries from potential partners looking to add Bit9 + Carbon Black to their security solutions.

“There is a huge market opportunity in front of us right now; people are more excited than ever to work with the leader in advanced threat protection for endpoints and servers,” said Jessica Couto, director of worldwide channel sales for Bit9. “Additionally, we’ve enhanced our certified professional services program so our partners achieve certification faster and easier than ever before. In doing so, we’re enabling them to provide innovative Bit9 + Carbon Black services to their end-user customers.”
