BitTitan, which focuses on IT change automation for cloud-based migration and onboarding, is partnering with Vaultive to implement data encryption for Microsoft Office 365.
The service will be available as a cloud-based offering to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) as part of the BitTitan Data Encryption offering, via channel partners.
To reduce their on-site infrastructure needs and increase information accessibility and uptime, SMBs are increasingly moving to the cloud, including Office 365. However, this is often at the expense of the company maintaining exclusive control of data, making it accessible to the outside world.
“Our partnership with Vaultive gives small and mid-sized businesses peace of mind when moving to the cloud and puts them back in control of their data,” said Geeman Yip, BitTitan CEO. “Because the service is fully automated and doesn’t require any additional infrastructure and management, it is the right solution for SMBs’ needs.”
This partnership enables Vaultive’s encryption-in-use technology to be implemented through BitTitan’s cloud-based automated processes and services. Data is encrypted before it goes to the cloud and stays encrypted while in transit, in use and at rest, providing end-to-end security. The encryption keys are separated from the encrypted data, preventing unauthorized access.
“For any company that’s moving to the cloud, data control is just as high of a priority as the cloud’s flexibility and cost savings,” said Elad Yoran, Vaultive CEO. “By implementing our enterprise technology through BitTitan’s IT automation solutions, we’re giving SMBs easy access to higher levels of control and security so they don’t have to think twice about moving to Office 365.”
