BlueOSS, which provides cloud billing and provisioning management tools for wholesale and retail providers, has apppointed co-founder Tim Cook as its new CEO.
As co-founder of BlueOSS, Cook has overseen the company’s operations as well as the design and development of its Cloud Innovation Suite (CIS) and overall services portfolio. In his new role, Cook is responsible for setting and overseeing the company’s strategy and vision, spearheading top-line revenues generated through sales, marketing and product management as well as developing and executing the company’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales and marketing strategies.

Cook brings more than 20 years of enterprise sales, marketing, sales management and product management experience to BlueOSS. Prior to BlueOSS, he served as vice president at Votela, a distributor for Siemens OpenScape Cloud Services and a specialized carrier providing voice and unified communications in the cloud. He also served as the director of sales at Force 3, a provider of information technology solutions and support services to the federal government.
