BreachQuest announced that it received $4.4 million seed funding, raised by Slow Ventures and Tinder Founders Sean Rad and Justin Mateen, as well as Kevin Maheffey, the Founder of Lookout.
The investments will help to accelerate and modernize incident response as BreachQuest builds its PRIORI incident-response platform. PRIORI – which will also gain funding from the investment – will pair talent with new technology to streamline and make more intelligent processes such as scoping, remediation and recovery.
The PRIORI platform will empower organizations to improve security posture with end-to-end readiness and response capabilities, providing improved visibility into breaches for first responders.
“BreachQuest was formed to do two things,” said Shaun Gordon, BreachQuest CEO. “First, to deliver an unparalleled incident response that minimizes downtime. Secondly, to develop PRIORI, a comprehensive platform to re-engineer the incident response process and move incident preparedness into the future.”
