Retail analytics specialist Brickstream has changed its name to the NOMi brand, after completing a merger with the company in October.
The joint NOMi brand will allow the company to support its direct business in the U.S. as well as its 55 channel partners worldwide, the company said. The joint entity combines hardware (it has 125,000 sensors deployed globally) with a comprehensive software suite.
“In just a short time, NOMi has established a tremendous brand in the market that embodies everything we want to accomplish as a company in the future,” said Steve Jeffery, CEO of Brickstream and now NOMi. “Today, we have the industry’s only patent-protected vertically integrated solution. The Brickstream name will continue for the expanding suite of sensor technology.”
NOMi will roll out a number of new products for clients and partners in the next weeks and months, it said, including an updated NOMi applications for operations, mobile, marketing and queue management — on top of the Brickstream Video, WiFi and BLE sensor suite.
