BrightStar Communications has selected One Marketplace from Global Capacity for network connectivity. Through a single interconnect to One Marketplace, BrightStar can gain visibility into competitive market pricing, while expanding the breadth and reach of its network footprint.
One Marketplace offers automated cloud application benchmarks on more than 50 million price points from hundreds of suppliers, interconnecting with the most competitive networks per geographic region. The platform also simplifies the ordering and provisioning of network services and tracks the performance for each circuit purchased, providing a single SLA, service agreement, point of contact and full network management.
“BrightStar‘s partnership with Global Capacity further strengthens our commitment to clients like Courtyard by Marriott and Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts to provide the highest possible levels of service, no matter how large their bandwidth needs or where they are located,” says Steve Simms, vice president of marketing at BrightStar Communications. “We chose Global Capacity because we saw the advantage of leveraging a fully automated and interconnected network platform to save time and simplify network procurement and delivery.”
With a 10GB Ethernet interconnect to One Marketplace at Global Capacity’s newest Point of Presence (PoP), 21721 Filigree Ct. Ashburn, Va., BrightStar can provide its customers with design, pricing, delivery and management of network services to transport WAN, cloud connectivity and Internet services. At the same time, the interconnection gives Global Capacity access to BrightStar’s Ethernet access services.
“Global Capacity is pleased to support BrightStar in being exceptional at providing the best network and communication services to their clients,” said Ben Edmond, chief revenue officer of Global Capacity. “Our relationship with BrightStar provides the opportunity to expand the breadth and reach of the network capabilities for both of our companies. We are honored to provide these business opportunities to both BrightStar and our other One Marketplace customers.”
