BroadSoft Appoints Acme Packet Vet as Chief Revenue Officer

BroadSoft has appointed Dino Di Palma as chief revenue officer.

In this newly created position, he will lead the BroadSoft global sales organization to continue to drive revenue growth, with the expanded BroadSoft Business portfolio and “Powered by BroadSoft” branding, and channel partner initiatives.

“Dino is a proven executive who has significant relationships with our service provider partners in driving rapid revenue growth. He is the perfect addition to further accelerate and further accelerate our position as the global cloud unified communications market share leader,” said Michael Tessler, president and CEO, BroadSoft.

Prior to BroadSoft, Di Palma was the was CEO at Benu Networks. Earlier in his career, he was the chief operating officer at Acme Packet, before its $2.1 billion acquisition by Oracle.  In that role, he oversaw Acme’s global sales and business development, customer service and support, and manufacturing organizations. Before that, he served as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales & Business Development at Acme.
