Broadvoice Lands Government Contractor Status

Broadvoice has been awarded a NASPO ValuePoint master agreement by the State of Utah for cloud solutions in all states, local governments and public education entities with an approved participating addendum. As a NASPO ValuePoint master agreement awarded contractor, the company expects to rapidly expand by delivering advanced communications solutions to public entities across 35 states and counting as participating addendums continue to be completed.

This award gives Broadvoice and its channel partners fast-track access to the multi-billion dollar government cloud market. The NASPO ValuePoint Cloud Marketplace eliminates traditional RFP challenges, which allows states, local governments, K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, political subdivisions, and authorized non-profit organizations with an approved participating addendum to more quickly gain access to Broadvoice services. NASPO ValuePoint facilitates multi-state cooperative procurements through rigorous RFP processes conducted by a Lead State under their public procurement statutes and rules before awarding a national contract. Since an in-depth RFP has already been completed, agencies are able to purchase communication technology with a participating addendum through Broadvoice and its channel partners, saving months of time.

“We are honored to be one of the few cloud service providers to pass the rigorous vendor selection process, which in turn will open doors to a vast array of new public sector opportunities,” said Jim Murphy, Broadvoice CEO. “Whether it’s a state government or a local school district, we are excited to help these public entities realize the cost savings and technology advantages that the private sector has long enjoyed—while delivering the level of service that Broadvoice has become synonymous with.”

For the next 10 years, Broadvoice is approved as a cloud services vendor for all states that participate in the public sector Cloud Service marketplace, created by NASPO ValuePoint in conjunction with the state of Utah.
