Broadvox has launched a cloud-based voice and collaboration service via its channel partners, straightforwardly dubbed Hosted Communications. The offering combines voicemail, Web collaboration, video, instant messaging and presence, fax and phone service to connect businesses, employees and customers–with customizable features. The services are accessible over a range of user devices including desktops, mobile phone and IP desk phones.
“Hosted Communications combines the value of hosted voice and unified communications into one single – but extremely flexible – solution, allowing businesses to customize their communications to meet their specific needs,” said Mike Gruszka, director of product management at Broadvox. “Hosted Communications brings all of a company’s collaborative and communication applications together, improving employee responsiveness and productivity. It enables people to access information and work anywhere, anytime and from any device.”
Businesses and IT professionals can select from a choice of rate and usage plans, mixing and matching feature sets including advance calling and unified messaging features. They can also choose from a set of IP phones, and either use their own broadband or select from a range of broadband options.
