BSI Chooses ViaWest for Disaster Recovery Strategy

DENVER – ViaWest, a privately held data center, cloud computing and managed service provider in North America, annouced that Biometric Signature-ID (BSI) has chosen the company to deliver cloud services as part of its disaster recovery strategy. BSI uses ViaWest’s cloud computing platform, KINECTed Cloud, for a personalized, scalable solution to meet its unique requirements.

As a software-as-a-service provider, BSI provides patented biometric signature gesture software for identity verification for all types of customers that require the highest levels of security including banking, financial, healthcare and government.

By leveraging its KINECTed Cloud platform, ViaWest created a customized data management solution for BSI that delivers the utmost in security and data availability.

“ViaWest provides leading-edge technology, so much so that it impressed our own customer base,” said Jeff Maynard, president and CEO of BSI. “A customer of ours audited the ViaWest Dallas area data center for compliance review purposes, and ViaWest passed with exceedingly high marks. ViaWest’s Regional Vice President of Sales and General Manager John Greenwood said, “We work every day to create positive customer experiences. BSI’s advanced technology is attractive to those entities that require data security, particularly data that is accessed from the growing number of mobile devices in use today.

“Our on-demand KINECTed Cloud provides fast-growing technology companies like BSI, who have high standards and need to scale rapidly, with a one-stop solution tailored to their needs,” Greenwood added.
