BullsEye Telecom has announced that current chief operating officer and one of the company’s founders, Tom Tisko, has been named chief executive officer.
Tisko will assume his new role on January 1, 2019. Tisko replaces Bill Oberlin, who will continue to serve as chairman of BullsEye’s Board of Directors.
Tisko will focus primarily on growing the business and serving BullsEye’s customer base, as well as expanding the company’s suite of advanced technologies, ultimately making communications management easier and more streamlined. He will also be responsible for providing the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that BullsEye has the proper processes, technology and people in place to effectively grow, and that the company remains at the forefront of providing multi-location communications solutions.
“As CEO, I will be committed to expanding BullsEye’s capabilities and capacity to deliver the next generation of integrated communications solutions to our customers,” said Tisko. “We have an extraordinary group of experts at BullsEye, and I am honored to lead this team. Further, I look forward to continuing to work with our partners to provide market-leading solutions for our customers and positioning the company as a leader and pacesetter in the communications space.”
“I am so proud of the company that BullsEye has become, with every single employee having a role in our success,” said Oberlin. “I know that I am leaving the company well-positioned for the future and truly cannot imagine anyone better than Tom in this role. It is Tom’s proven performance during his 20-year tenure that uniquely equips him to successfully lead BullsEye going forward.”
Tisko joined BullsEye Telecom in 1999 as executive vice president. His strategic contributions have been influential to BullsEye achieving recognition on the Inc. 500, an annual list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
Prior to BullsEye, Tisko served as director of operations at World Data Delivery Systems. He began his career as a systems engineer/manager at Electronic Data Systems Corporation, where he led and managed teams of system engineers in resource allocation, technical guidance and career development.
Tisko received a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan Technological University, and a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University. He resides in the Metro Detroit area with his wife and four children.
