CBG will help to extend Certes Networks’ channel reach initially in the UK, targeting managed security service providers (MSSPs).
Certes has developed a Layer 4 encryption technology to secure data-in-motion, over any network, which enables organizations to address data security compliance mandates, such as those within GDPR. The company said that this doesn’t affect network and or application performance, because the patented technology encrypts only the payload of the packet.
“CBG are delighted that Certes Networks has chosen to partner with us in utilizing our specialist services to drive channel growth and focus,” said CBG founder and managing director, Jamie Murphy. “Innovation and differentiation are two huge priorities in the UK MSSP market. We are always looking for innovative security vendors to help address this. Certes Networks unique and patented Layer 4 Stealth Encryption solution is a perfect fit in addressing these challenges and we look forward to working with them. There is a fantastic opportunity for MSSPs with the right capabilities to offer truly innovative security to its clients and we look forward to expanding Certes channel program with a focus on quality over quantity.”
Dan Panesar, VP EMEA, Certes Networks, added, “We are aware of the growing pressure on businesses to protect sensitive data and the concerns many have ahead of the introduction of regulations like GDPR. Through our relationship with CBG we are looking to accelerate our UK channel growth, offering clear innovation and differentiation for MSSP’s, through the industry’s first Layer 4 Stealth Encryption solution.”
