China Telecom has appointed Zhang Zhiyong and Liu Guiqing as executive vice-presidents of the company. This announcement is effective immediately.
Zhiyong is the former managing director of the Sideline Industrial Management Department of China Telecommunications, as well as president and executive director of China Communications Services and general manager of the Xinjiang and Beijing branch of China Telecom. He is also a VP of China Telecommunications, the chairman of the board of directors and an executive director of China Communications Services as well as a non-executive director of China Tower.
Guiqing served as general manager of China Unicom Hunan branch and as general manager of the China Unicom Jiangsu provincial branch. He is also a VP of China Telecommunications.
