Chorus Celebrates 10th Annual Who’s Who in Technology Event

Consultancy Chorus Communications commemorated its 10th annual Who’s Who In Technology Event, on Wednesday, April 19th at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. To celebrate the milestone, the company is offering Who’s Who In Technology 2017 attendees a sales incentive, dubbed the “Chorus’ Grand Slammin’ Q2 Spiff,” which features a grand prize trip package to the MLB All Star Game in Miami.

The event was hosted by Phillies alum Tommy Greene, and included presentations from industry leaders at Comcast Business, New Horizon Communications, Spectrotel and TPX Communications. Exhibits were also on display by Line Systems, OnRamp, OnSip, RCN Business and PDV Wireless.

Additionally, Chorus sales partners were treated to stadium tours and a batting cage experience. The fun-filled happy hour sponsored in-part by QTS Data Centers concluded the festivities, and was complete with an open bar, gourmet ballpark fare, music by DJ Xtina and an appearance by the Phillie Phanatic.

This year, Chorus added a charitable element to the event with a silent auction comprised of high-quality sports memorabilia. Proceeds from the auction benefited Women in the Channel, the non-profit association that connects female leaders in the telecom and IT channels for the purpose of collaborating, supporting and mentoring. Chorus channel manager Amy Servis, and director of marketing Buffy Harakidas are both active members of that organization.

“Who’s Who In Technology 2017 symbolizes a key milestone in our company history, as it’s the first Who’s Who since event inception that was held in a Major League Baseball stadium that had the caliber of speakers, displays and attendees that we had this year,” said Daniel Cronin, president and co-founder of Chorus Communications. “Leveraging our years of success of connecting together the people behind the scenes to meet and discuss business with our key sales partners during this exclusive event is truly what our team does best. We couldn’t be more pleased and we look forward to other successful events and to the other rewarding partnership opportunities in the future.”

“Comcast Business was happy to once again participate in Chorus Communications’ Who’s Who in Technology event. It was a great forum to meet with solutions providers and customers and talk technology,” said Maureen O’Connell, senior partner manager for Comcast Business, which has sponsored Who’s Who In Technology for the past five years. Chorus Communications is a Comcast Gold Solutions Provider and has received the “Top Performers Club” award for 2015 and 2017.
