Cloud Security Firm Armor Names Chief Revenue Officer to Focus on MSP Developments

Cloud security company Armor named Bryan Hauptman as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Hauptman’s appointment, it was noted, reflects the firm’s “ongoing expansion” of its global Managed Service Provider (MSP) base, as well as its security and compliance initiatives.

In this role, the executive will be responsible for handling Armor’s go-to-market expansion, including sales, customer success and marketing.

The company noted that Hauptman has a “proven track record of establishing and scaling successful MSP programs,” having most-recently served in the same capacity with ThreatConnect. In this position, he oversaw threat intelligence, cyber-risk quantification and security orchestration, automation and response. Hauptman is also a former exec with Datto and Sungard.

According to Armor CEO, Mark Woodward, Bryan’s appointment will position the company as an “engine that empowers MSPs to capitalize on accelerating market demand.”

“Our dynamic platform will play a central role in helping … open new doors of sustained profitability,” said Hauptman. “This role will allow me to make a tangible impact on Armor’s growth and presents exciting possibilities to the MSP community.”

Armor’s products and services are designed to support cloud-based security and compliance, with its security platform specifically seeking to safeguard one’s endpoints, network, server and cloud against malicious threats.
