SIPPIO Hires Mitel’s Rick Green as Channel Development Manager, Carrier Partnerships

SIPPIO, a company known for its 100 percent Azure-native cloud platform, announced telecommunications veteran Rick Green as Channel Development Manager for Carrier Partnerships. Green will be responsible for expanding the company’s Carrier Channel program, in addition to implementing processes and best practices to foster development and successful partnerships.

Green is the former National Sales Manager for service provider sales with Mitel, and is also a former executive with Voice Carrier, Vigilar and Solunet. While with Solunet, SIPPIO noted, the exec oversaw business development, sales and marketing initiatives that increased company revenue by over 50 percent, attributed to expanded partnerships with Juniper Networks, Foundry and MRV.

“I am excited to join SIPPIO,” said Green, noting that the company “clearly has its finger on the pulse of business communications” and “in terms of innovation and partner-centricity, is markedly ahead of its competitors.”

SIPPIO’s platform, which is architected specifically for Microsoft Azure, serves to empower CLECs, wireless carriers, MVNOs, MSOs and ISPs to capitalize on voice-enabled collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

In June 2021, SIPPIO unveiled its Partner Portal application, for helping carriers to sell, deploy, manage and support customer portfolios by accessing features such as automated tenant provisioning, account activation, number porting and DID assignment.
