CloudPassage Appoints Channel, Federal Sales Execs

Cloud security firm CloudPassage has announced the appointments of Tim Colby as vice president of channel sales and Dan Brigati as vice president of federal sales.

Colby has 25 years of networking and security sales experience building channel programs at companies such as Infoblox and Aruba. Brigati has 25 years of sales experience with FireEye, Aruba, Cisco and others.

“CloudPassage is one of the few security companies that is enabling the massive transformation of IT delivery models from walled data centers to cloud computing,” said Robert Thomas, CEO, CloudPassage. “The timing is right to accelerate our growth with channel partners and in the federal space. Tim has built two highly successful channel programs at pre-IPO companies which helped lead to successful IPOs and he has been recognized twice by Computer Reseller News as one of the most influential channel leaders in the IT industry. Dan has built and led sales teams that drove massive growth by working closely with federal agencies and systems integrators.”

Both executives will report to executive vice president of sales Mark Stephenson.

“With CloudPassage’s agile security platform, we are addressing a giant need in the IT industry,” said Colby. “Smart integrators, VARs and MSSPs are investing in platforms like CloudPassage Halo to gain a competitive edge in the emerging security services market. Halo enables our partners to provide comprehensive, high-quality infrastructure security that is delivered in a flexible, automated model and fully integrates with existing tools.”

“Federal agencies have a mandate to move faster into cloud computing; the benefits are simply too compelling,” said Brigati. “With CloudPassage Halo, agencies and other government departments can take advantage of the efficiencies and agility of cloud computing models with strong, on-demand, scalable security that works anywhere, at any scale.”
