IT distributor and infrastructure solution provider, Computer Media Technologies (CMT), has rebranded to DataEndure.
DataEndure reflects the company’s increasing emphasis on cyber-security, as keeping critical information protected and available is becoming more difficult, and data growth and the frequency and ferocity of attacks are only escalating.
“The goal of digital resilience is to keep information protected and available to the right people at the right time in a simple, cost-effective, and compliant way,” the company said. “This requires the right combination of storage, information management, security and data center infrastructure solutions.”
DataEndure has strengthened its digital resilience solution portfolio, which includes products from longstanding partners like Symantec, NetApp, and Veritas, as well as new partners like Pure Storage and CrowdStrike. Teh company is increasing its focus on security in addition to its existing portfolio of information management and storage.
“Corporate data is growing exponentially, as is the threat landscape,” said CEO Kurt Klein. “DataEndure is unique in that we take a holistic approach in delivering a data management and protection solution instead of one or the other.”
He added, “We’ve always had a security portfolio, but we’re increasing our emphasis on it because of the growing customer need. We’ve made, and will continue to make, critical investments in our people and portfolio to make sure that we’re there with solutions that help our customers build their digital resilience.”
DataEndure also plans to expand into key vertical markets, to follow on its recent foray into the healthcare market.
