Vitelity, the third largest CLEC in North America (by rate center), is planning a new direction for its traditional Affiliate Agent Program.
It said that it plans to do away with high minimums and difficult set-up processes.
“We have years of experience working with agents and have heard the frustrations these business owners face,” said Brian Smiley, senior director of the Affiliate Agent Program at Vitelity. “Our network footprint is surging and with our automated account management tools, we can offer independent contractors an easy way to partner with a true wholesale carrier. Our restructured plan will focus on meeting the unique needs of the independent agent.”
He added, “Independent contractors have plenty of options to work with large master agents, but the smaller agents out there have been telling us they need an easier process for on-boarding new customers and growing their businesses.”
Vitelity’s restructured Affiliate Agent Program will include residual income, joint branding options and agent training. Agents also receive personalized support from a team led by a dedicated account manager.
