Cyolo Names EVP to Address CISOs’ Needs at Intersection of IT, OT

Cyolo, a provider of secure zero-trust access solutions for enterprise IT and OT, announced the promotion of Joe O’Donnell to Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. In this role, O’Donnell will help fortify Cyolo’s corporate roadmap with an emphasis on broadening relationships with key alliance partners and customers as the company provides high standards for access and connectivity.

The promotion comes at a time of growth for Cyolo. As part of O’Donnell’s increased responsibilities, he will lead critical aspects of the company. Firstly, he will assume leadership of the enhanced partner program – Cyolo Connected – and support the team by establishing alliances across regions with an emphasis on OT, industrial and automation vendors.

O’Donnell also will focus on scaling up the organization’s strategic business opportunities with high-level customers and building plans to advance business operations to increase the company’s market presence through high-tier alliances, partnerships and joint ventures.

With more than 25 years of experience, O’Donnell’s new position will play an intrinsic role as the company scales. He will report to Cyolo’s CEO and collaborate with the Revenue Operations Team, which is under the leadership of the Chief Revenue Officer Jason Schaaf.

In recent years, connectivity between IT networks and isolated OT systems has created serious security risks. To address the challenges of access security amidst IT/OT convergence, Cyolo’s ongoing innovation is dedicated to optimizing a secure access solution that consolidates the most valuable elements of zero-trust network access (ZTNA), industrial secure remote access (i-SRA), industrial grade-privileged access management (i-PAM), and more.
