Cyolo Strengthens Senior Leadership Team

Zero-trust network access provider Cyolo has appointed industry veteran Jason Schaaf as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

As an accomplished technology sales leader with more than 20 years’ experience in the business, Schaaf has a track record driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth. He has worked for several multinational cybersecurity and technology companies including ActiveFence, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks and EMC, where he headed up a $150 million data protection specialty sales team.

Schaaf joins Cyolo at a pivotal moment after the company experienced rapid growth in its first two years. It completed a $60 million Series B funding round in 2022 to expand Cyolo’s leadership and accelerate the global presence of its identity-based access solution.

In his new role, Schaaf will be responsible for building a world-class sales team and developing a go-to-market strategy that generates results worldwide.

On his appointment, Schaaf said: “Cyolo is an agile and dynamic startup with ambitious and aggressive plans for future growth. I look forward to being a driving force to make that a reality alongside a commanding sales team.”

Cyolo co-founder and CEO Almog Apirion said, “Cyolo was born out of frustration with the lack of choice for a completely secure and flexible zero-trust access solution. Jason will primarily focus on helping us expand our footprint in existing and new markets and explore how we can best serve our customers. His knowledge, experience and contacts in the industry will be an invaluable asset.”
