Dataguise recently appointed Brian Reid as Sales Manager for EMEA.
Recognized for his strong sales leadership, Mr. Reid has successfully led organizations, including Tableau, Dell, and Quest Software, in exceeding revenue goals throughout his career. In his new position, his focus will center on growing the company’s presence in Europe and beyond.
Reid brings with him more than 20 years of sales management experience, spent primarily in senior positions at leading technology providers. Prior to Dataguise, Reid was instrumental in expanding and managing sales operations for companies that include Tableau, Dell and Quest Software, including the development of strategic relationships with medium to large enterprises throughout EMEA. In addition to supporting customers with IT management solutions from these organizations, Reid spent years cultivating relationships with Tier One accounts as he improved sales volumes for regions under his management.
Referencing his new position with Dataguise, Reid said, “We have the most complete solution on the market for data privacy and compliance, backed by a management team dedicated to success and excellent partners that include Computacenter, Teradata, Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR, Amazon, and Microsoft Azure. I am excited to join a company that has been highly praised by the industry for its focus on alleviating the pressure that the GDPR is putting on organizations. I plan to work closely with enterprises to make sure they fully understand the impact of local data privacy concerns and regulations. As a result, they will be able to significantly reduce the risks to their brand and bottom line with the solutions we bring to the market.”
“We are very pleased to have Brian join our team as his experience and enthusiasm will play a huge role in the company’s success in the region,” said James Emmons, VP, Global Sales for Dataguise. “His ability to manage a team of sales leaders to cultivate long term customer partnerships will be valued as he understands the business requirements for companies throughout the region.”
