DataXoom Expands Channel Program with Partner App

DataXoom Corp., a wholesale provider of mobile data services for businesses, has announced a significant expansion of its channel partner program, including the launch of its Mobile-First initiative.

This effort will feature a new sales-focused mobile application called DX Partner, built specifically for DataXoom sales partners. The enhancements to the partner program are a response to an industry-wide need for more mobile data, which is opening up new revenue streams for IT resellers, ISV’s and other channel partners. Enhancements to the program also broadly reflect how modern business is conducted, with field workers interfacing remotely through company-sponsored wireless devices and applications.

The DX Partner application, which will be available on both Android and iOS devices via Google Play and the Apple App Store, features an array of tools for sales professionals, including quote requests, training videos, a commission calculator, and deal registration. A News Wall in the DX Partner app will highlight product updates, industry news, webinars and the latest DataXoom channel promotions.

“We are clearly a mobile-first company, and we are embracing mobile technology to help our partners close more sales,” said Bryan Hagedon, vice president of channel and partner development at DataXoom. “Consider deal registration, a cumbersome, paper-based process in many other partner programs, that should instead be executed through our simple and efficient mobile platform.”

A resource center within the DX Partner app offers partners instant access to DataXoom collateral, allowing them to respond immediately to client requests while on the road. Social media syndication allows partners to expand their reach to end customers by leveraging DataXoom content on the leading social networks.

“Many of the current mobility offerings in the marketplace today are unattractive for channel partners for a host of reasons,” continued Hagedon. “We take wholesale mobility and make it partner-friendly by offering connectivity across multiple underlying wireless providers, on one bill, with terms designed specifically for business customers. We’re enhancing our partner program to proactively address the growing demand for 4G and LTE data, driven by video-based applications that require massive amounts of wireless data. And of course at the end of the day we’re focused on growing our partners’ revenue.”
