Hosting company Enterhost has signed an agreement with Dell SonicWALL that will allow Enterhost to standardize all of Enterhost’s firewall offerings with the SonicWALL line.
Enterhost, a Dell Premier Partner, will manage customer firewalls through SonicWALL’s Global Management System solution. The hosted firewall solution will provide both cloud and dedicated hosting customers with VPN capabilities and intrusion protection, as well as 24×7 monitoring and management by certified technicians.
“We have taken our customers’ security seriously since before it was even popular to do so, providing firewall protection since the early 2000s as a standard course of business,” said Ben Tiblets, co-president of Enterhost. “Today, as our technical expertise, vendor partnerships, customer needs and the security landscape have evolved, we’ve made the decision to systemically transition to the SonicWALL offering to provide our customers the protection they need.”
According to the company, going forward, regardless of product purchase, all Enterhost customers will be protected by a SonicWALL firewall. From there, customers will have a choice between a cloud or dedicated solution. Customers can also select between a firewall fully-managed by Enterhost’s SonicWALL-certified technicians, or opt to self-manage their firewall.
