Extreme Networks Names Chief Information and Customer Officer

Extreme Networks, which provides AI automation for networking, named Anisha Vaswani as chief information and customer officer (CICO). Vaswani will report directly to president and CEO, Ed Meyercord. 

As CICO, she will develop and implement IT strategy, ensuring that tech investments support business objectives and growth. Vaswani will also focus on driving internal innovation and customer success by acting as “Extreme’s Customer ONE.” In this role, she will test and validate Extreme’s products prior to rollout. 

Lastly, Vaswani will oversee customer success initiatives, engaging them to complete successful tech migrations and deliver value-add that prioritizes longterm customer relationships, loyalty and retention.

Previously, Vaswani filled the CIO role with companies such as IDG, Box, Toast, Inc. and Shockwave Medical.
