FireEye has named Luca Brandi as its new Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) channel director.
Brandi was promoted from his former role managing its southern Europe channel.
Commenting on his promotion, Brandi said he will focus on helping partners with their hunt for skilled talent.
“While the channel has experienced many recent changes, the need to help organizations tackle challenges associated with having a limited number of cybersecurity professionals or sprawling resources remains universal,” Brandi said. “Together with our partners, it is my primary objective to help customers make their existing security teams more productive with better tools, extend their teams with managed services and moving away from arbitrary security program success metrics.”
Brandi has been in the channel for more than 30 years.
He was formerly with Symantec, as its distribution and SMB sales director Southern Region, and spent six years at Ingram Micro Italy.
