Global Capacity has opened a One Marketplace point of presence (PoP) in Minneapolis, at 511 11th Avenue South, Minnesota’s most connected building. The PoP directly connects into the company’s 30Gbps core, to deliver diverse route options, competitive pricing and network services to One Marketplace customers.
The PoP is accessible to businesses in the Minneapolis area, as well as those located in underserved markets extending throughout rural Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
As the primary business center between Chicago and Seattle and a major Midwest hub, Minneapolis boasts high concentrations of Fortune 1000 and S&P 500 companies as well as Forbes 400 private companies.
“Minneapolis is one in a series of strategic new One Marketplace PoPs launched by Global Capacity to improve access for customers and suppliers across the US,” said Jack Lodge, president of Global Capacity. “Interconnecting to One Marketplace at the Minneapolis PoP presents new opportunities for providers in this Tier III market to extend network reach and gain access to competitive pricing without the complexity of designing, contracting and managing multiple interconnections.”
Global Capacity’s One Marketplace combines an interconnected, aggregated network with a cloud application that simplifies the wholesale procurement of network solutions. It includes design, pricing and fulfillment of multi-network, multi-geography requirements, as well as a single SLA, contract and point of contact, and network visibility and management.
